Overview

Coffee Service Technician - Lacey, WA Based

 

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00/hr DOE + full benefit package

Schedule: 5-8 HR shifts schedule, Monday – Friday +some weekend rotation possible

 

Territory Responsibilities: Federal Way to Chehalis, and out to the coast, Olympic and Kitsap peninsulas

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensure that all equipment belonging to the company and assigned to the customer is in good working condition or replaced to the satisfaction of the customer
    • General maintenance of equipment to include but not limited to cleaning and repair
    • Installation of beverage equipment, backdrops, and menus
  • Ensure quality service to our customers
  • Be responsive, helpful, and friendly when on location, by phone, and/or email
  • Be informed about company initiatives to inform or update customers accordingly
  • Maintain an expedient response time to all customer service issues
  • Be responsive and informative to all relevant communication
  • Communicate regularly with management and sales teams
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and practices
  • Maintain company vehicle (oil changes, washes, etc.),
  • Stocking + inventorying parts and materials (in the warehouse and on the company vehicle)
  • Make sure that all work areas are cleaned before the technician leaves the customer location or shop
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Mechanical knowledge of how to repair small appliances, plumbing, and electrical are required to accomplish the training and understand how the tasks need to be completed

  • Skilled using a variety of tools used for electrical, plumbing, and general repair of equipment including testing equipment. Must be able to perform the duties of the technician
  • Skilled in oral expression—communicating information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. Must be able to use phone and other communication equipment clearly
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service skills to manage customers and employees
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to present a clean and professional appearance
  • Ability to use a smart phone and be proficient in using and communicating by e-mail
  • Must be punctual with good attendance and be prompt and ready to start work at scheduled shift time
  • Ability to work well with other employees and maintain a professional and respectful work environment is imperative to Harbor values and teamwork in the field

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in equipment repair is preferred.
  • Advanced education in electrical, plumbing, or refrigeration are helpful but not required

License and Certifications: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required to maintain liability insurance; all final candidates will need to successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
