Inventory Control Clerk

 

Pay: $22.75/hr to $26.38.00/hr range + Excellent Benefits

SHIFT: Monday - Friday 6:00AM – 2:30PM

 

General Summary: One of the main purposes of the Inventory Control position requires the individual to continually the product in the warehouse. Including, but not limited to, verifying the our quantities in the system match what is physically in the warehouse. This individual may also be assigned any new tasks depending on the company needs (as needed).

 

 

 

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

· Cycle count the warehouse quarterly

· Verify and pull outdated items out of the system weekly

· Pull damaged items out of the system daily and repacked salvable product daily

· Perform item transfers

· Move product up to 75lbs daily

· Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

· Proficient in basic math ex. add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

· Skilled using a PC and familiar with Microsoft Office products

· Familiar with warehouse management systems

· Must be able to problem solve and resolve inventory variances

· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

· Ability to write simple correspondence.

· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

· Ability to operate a stand-up reach truck and order picker or possess ability to learn and become certified.

· Ability to work in subzero degree temperatures with proper PPE equipment (provided)

· Must not be afraid of heights

· Skilled in applying common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

· Ability to communicate well with others

· Courage to say something when you see something especially with Safety

· Skilled in Time Management — managing one's own time and the time of others.

· Ability to work well with other employees to foster a respectful and professional work environment

 

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

License and Certifications: None
