Overview

Outchaser - Inventory Control 

Pay: Starting wage $20.24

Hours: Hourly position: Sunday – Thursday. 4:00PM until completion. Highly competitive pay with a full benefit package

SHIFT: Sunday - Thursday 4:00 PM until complete (Sunday’s may include schedule modification as it is typically a lighter workload. Start times may be subject to slight alteration as needed)

Position Summary: The Inventory Control – Outchaser plays a critical role in recovering/filling marked out items on customer orders from depleted pick locations during picking operation. This individual will count these locations visually and systematically to verify and correct any inventory discrepancies while re-picking marked out items and replacing them with the main order. This position is key to providing maximum order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with PM & IC Management to understand priority and workflow 
  • Use of RF Scanner to accurately cycle count and pick Outchasers
  • Use of WMS (HighJump) to print and select outchaser orders
  • General use of WMS, ERP and Excel to provide data points for problem items
  • Interpret the provided trailer/load maps
  • Safely operate a riding pallet jack & Forklift
  • Use established practices to place product on correct pallet/tote/truck
  • Use shrink wrap to hand wrap pallets when necessary
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including standing, walking and moderate lifting (up to 50lbs)
  • Other job duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Excellent communication skills are a must.
  • 1-2 years’ recent warehouse or distribution experience within an assembly or pick and pack environment preferred.
  • Some basic knowledge with Microsoft Programs, such as Excel, Word, Office, Teams.
  • Abilities: Manual dexterity (finger, hands, wrist) ; Multi-limb coordination; Near vision; Trunk strength
  • Must be able to read English, Count accurately & recognize numbers, and select the appropriate product to fill orders.
  • Ability to work well with other employees to foster a respectful and professional work environment

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience in a warehouse, distribution or like facility, consistent work history with reliable attendance.

License and Certifications:

  • Must have a reliable form of transportation to get to work.
  • Forklift & Rider Jack experience preferred but not required - We will provide onsite training
