Overview

Maintenance Specialist:

 

Hourly: Full-Time

 

Shift Schedule (Days & Avg Hours):  Monday thru Friday 7am to 3:30pm

 

Pay: $24.00 – $29.00/hr. DOE, plus a full benefit package

General Summary:

The Maintenance Specialist Performs basic tasks including painting and wall repair, clean facilities and managing maintenance repairs. This position will also perform repairs on company machinery, equipment, or appliances and contribute to the overall maintenance of Harbor by detecting and reporting any need for major maintenance repairs.

 

 

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform basic tasks includingpainting and wall repair, clean facilities and manage maintenance repairs
  • Perform repairs on company machinery, equipment, or appliances.
  • Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
  • Regularly check community spaces to identify issues with litter, mechanical failure, or breakdowns.
  • Respond to clients’ maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain the appearance of outside spaces such as parking lots and sidewalks.
  • May repair electrical locks and control panels to maintain building security.
  • Provide professional support and guidance on maintaining equipment.\
  • May operate a computer which controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems.
  • Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
  • Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Extremely organized with good communication skills
  • Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving
  • Skillful hands, good physical stamina, and basic technical knowledge.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and use of multi-meter

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  • Ability to work with a variety of tools and power equipment.
